Mammograms are another important and vital part of women’s healthcare in the later years of a woman’s life. Each year, 40,000 women die from breast cancer. A mammogram can help detect breast cancer early on and allow for early treatment. Mammograms are suggested to be a routine check up every 2 years. Despite age, all women are encouraged to take care of themselves and conduct self breast exams. Cryoablations: do you have heavy periods? Akermanmed  specialists are the first OBGYN practice in Orange County CA performing Cerene Cryoablation in office. Cryotherapy significantly reduces heavy bleeding. It is also a convenient treatment done without general anesthesia.
